Each fan features a 4 layers design with 36 natural ostrich feathers plus an additional ostrich feather boa layer for extra density and softness. The upper section includes 24 longer double-sided feathers, approximately 21"–23" (53–58 cm), combined with one boa layer to create a fuller and more seamless feather surface. The down layer includes 12 shorter feathers, approximately 17"–19" (43–48 cm), adding depth, coverage, and stronger visual fullness near the hand base.
The fan measures approximately 35" in length and opens to approximately 67" wide. Each fan is made with 12 staves, with the option of acrylic (PMMA) staves or aluminum staves.
