Each fan features 24 natural ostrich feathers in a 2 layers design. The upper layer includes 12 longer feathers measuring approximately 25"–28" (65–70 cm), while the lower layer includes 12 shorter feathers measuring approximately 20"–23" (50–55 cm) for added fullness, coverage, and texture. The 38" size refers to the fan length, and the fan opens to approximately 64" wide. Staves are available in acrylic (PMMA) or aluminum, with aluminum staves requiring an additional charge.
